Oops. Suddenly and somewhat unexpectedly, I am hungry for rosé. This coincides with that I do business among the discounted goods. Systembolaget's new website reminds me that there are more categories than the red and white to search through. Leth's have pink, then (the white wine, on sale cost 68 kronor, however, is final in all stores).
There are 21 discounted rosé, such as left over from last year's pink summer shock. Among them are the two that are a bit interesting: Bolgarello , the Tuscan sangiovese and shiraz, and Louis Bernard Tavel from Rhone Valley (mostly grenache and some of the other common Rhône-mates). 71 does it last, in 1994 the latter, against 89 and 118 previously.
None of these are provided on Hansacompagniet. So it may be Mottura Negroamaro IGT Rosé from dear old Puglia for 55 pix (according to manufacturer's website is also a little Malvasia Nera in the brew). Expectations are roughly on par with the price, so in the freezer with flarran for it to be properly cooled. When the screw cap removed, it is a simple, fruity and berry drink that meets the palate. There is no acid and direction in taste and has a bitter end that allows the not be optimally its own. But anyway! It is nykommet, refreshing and fun. To a couscous salad with sun dried tomatoes, feta and avocado and a sous vide-cooked turkey frying slips it down perfectly OK.
