Everyday Wines

A couple blog neighbors have in the past week writing about everyday wines from readers' requests. Hmm, the only time someone asks us to write about something is when it comes sparkling wine flavored with strawberries. If I understand medbloggarnas view of things right, the everyday wine which is within a certain price range. Type between 80 - 120 SEK, or "dog in the ring". One thing I started to think about is whether it's even worth talking about everyday wines in a country where most everything is sold on the box. Is not it right ruffled images that appear.

My favorite cookbook writer Elizabeth David said that one should drink their best bottles in the weeks and save the easy ones for receptions. She performed for several reasons. First, one can have to brighten up the week with a really good wine. A good wine can also enhance an impact everyday meal, while a top wine at worst can become a distraction from a carefully prepared meal. Similarly, a good wine either get too little attention in a hilarious pet or move the focus from the actual visitation to the wine. There is much to consider for a wine drinkers. Now I would guess that that is so to Elisabeth Davis uses wines are quite different from my use wine, but the spirit is nevertheless interesting

When I think of the concept of everyday wine, it's not so much on the price I think. No, rather then on the kind of wine that people in the wine producing countries are drinking on a daily basis. Wines for everyday or potluck. You find them everywhere (except at Systembolaget). In Italy, we have sensible treated Dolcetto, Barbera and grignolino. Lite further east is Valpolicella, Bardolino (I'm waiting for a renaissance) and Soave. Of course I will not forget friulano Refosco Tocai or cabernet franc from the Veneto and Friuli. So much delights, and we have not even approached the center of Italy. Continuing to France so there are a plethora wines on the same theme. Red and white from the Loire and Jura, wines from the less prestigious North and sydrhonska apellationerna. Of course I must mention my new love beajoulais.

Everyday Wines is, or ought, in my opinion be, healthy, vigorous, lively and fruity wine with rich acidity. Wines designed for meals rather than tests. Not budget version of the prestigious wines, whose drums are replaced by ekchips. If you want a bit tighter reins on a daily basis so there is plenty to find a bit south of Bordeaux and a lot of Languedoc.Oftast it's also among those wines you can find the local special nature. They are not designed to mimic the classic finvinerna but to work out to the local homely fare.

I think that it was actually on the wines that those we thought when we named the blog once a time. It got its name from a notion of delicious, severe busviner. One idea that somewhere there would be a counterweight to the solemn, austere and above all expensive finvinsstuket. The genuinely popular, rather than the perverted folk as we see with boxvin culture.
