2010 The Lifeline, Lambrusco Grasparossa Castelvetro

Lambrusco at grasparossa variant from Alberto Salvatore Doris La Battagliola that produce this one wine (!).
Beautiful, dark ruby-violet color with lovely pink foam. Delicate and light nose with soft, fresh cherries, blackberries, blueberries and very distinctive Blue Gajol with subtle tones rubber underneath.
Very inviting nose that are not left behind by the taste: It is a dry lambrusco (12%), but the first thing one notices is still a perfect relationship here between dry acidity and restrained fruit sweetness. Megalæskende and fresh, and while serious vinøsitet, depth of fruit and great balance. Super Beautiful finish where the delicate acid, beads and feather-light tannins pull together and finish certainly with a really delicate lakridsbolche tone. Slight but delicate acidity and a little candy tones and blueberry in the finish, which is amazingly long and with the little baby tannins in the cheeks and palate. Tones of freshly baked bread mingling with bærsyren far, far out in the aftertaste.
The Lambrusco here live in a way most after it is sunk, it's from the finish and into the aftertaste that really creases an extra layer and go from very good to excellent. Beautiful!
Is extremely kapabel on the table, but almost best only when the finer nuances has space - thus, for example, superb as an aperitif. Of course it Carlo Merolli importing - 85 kr
