N s part of the Veneto Regional project: "Protection of health in physical and sporting activities - fight against sedentary" , the Department of Prevention ULSS 20 Verona opened the contest with the title " Small to large public roads " with the aim of rewarding the most original project to promote physical activity in everyday life, especially with regard to children . The competition is open to primary schools and secondary schools of the Veneto Region. The project currently underway in primary and secondary schools No. 1 of the Comprehensive Montecchio Maggiore entitled "Paths colored" has the characteristics required by the regional contest.
The school with the teachers coordinated the study TANDA E M, with the support of school leaders, decided to enter the competition. Teachers with children will make every effort to produce materials, activities and urban objects to promote pedestrian paths of Montecchio.
The competition provides particularly relevant to projects involving:
- build synergies between the various social actors (schools, associations, public institutions, etc ...)
- the active participation of the population is organized in an individual, especially children and young
- promote permanent changes in lifestyle, consistent with the objectives of environmental sustainability and social
can win two awards: one, worth € 6,000, for projects submitted by entities resident in municipalities with a population above 50,000 inhabitants and a , worth € 4,000, for projects of organizations residing in towns with population less than 50,000 inhabitants. We will also mentioned the two most interesting projects for each category.
